A WORD FROM THE FOUNDER

Our world is changing at the speed of light. The need to train and educate those who know they are called and are willing to demonstrate God’s life-changing power to this generation is vital. ICBC was established to raise up strong and effective Christian leaders to answer the call of God. Increase your knowledge of God and allow His prophetic fire to burn in your heart! Discover your place in God as you step into your destiny by fulfilling God’s plan for your life.

Ps. Neville McDonald

A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT

It has become increasingly evident to me that God is pouring out His Spirit on His people in unprecedented ways. Believers are taking their rightful place in God’s great end-time army, declaring and establishing the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our governments, workplaces, schools, and communities around the world. Join ICBC and become a part of this great army, commissioned to take the good news of Jesus to the nations!

Ps. Charmaine Hoedemaker

A WORD FROM THE DEAN

It is our desire to make a difference in the world we are living in and our goal is to bring the saving presence of Jesus Christ to a hurting world. At ICBC you will find something different; it is the emphasis on the role of the Holy Spirit in the entire academic process. I commend you for your interest in Theological Studies, and thank you for considering ICBC. I know that we can meet your academic and spiritual needs, with a distinct supernatural Holy Ghost filled emphasis.

VISION

It is the vision and purpose of ICBC to help men and women of God become biblically literate and spiritually gifted servants of Christ to minister in all the nations of the earth. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, every effort has been made to ensure that we have not strayed from the original vision. The essence and focus of all that is taught is “Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” (1 Cor. 2:2)

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The purpose of ICBC is to prepare people called to full-time ministry, as well as those desiring training for service in the Body of Christ. We will train men and women in the Word of God, in true worship and in the ministry through the following means.

1.Sound doctrinal classroom teaching on fundamental concepts and principles from the Bible. A foundation of knowledge from the Word of God is essential to succeed in any Christian endeavors.

2.Hands-on training with close supervision and accountability. Classroom teaching alone, is not sufficient to adequately equip ministers to meet and overcome the challenges of this generation.

3.Exposure to nationally and internationally proven ministries. A vast storehouse of wisdom is available through the lives and testimonies of men and women of God who have remained steadfast in their commitment to Him.

4.The opportunity for involvement in local church operation. Students are trained in all aspects of ministry, and are strongly encouraged to take what they have learnt back to their local church and become involved in the vision of their “own house”.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

*New or matured Christians
*Those wanting to be trained and equipped for full-time ministry
*Those who desire a better knowledge and understanding of the Word, to bring about a spiritual balance in their lives.

PRACTICAL TRAINING

The purpose of ICBC student ministry is to develop ministry skills through hands-on experience within the ministry opportunities at Good Hope Christian Centre, and also within their own local churches.

Students will gain valuable experience through responsibilities of both a servant and a leader. It is the belief of ICBC that classroom teaching alone is not sufficient to adequately equip and prepare graduates to meet and overcome the challenges faced in ministry today.

The following ministries are available to students during their time at ICBC:
-Counselling -Street -Video -Ushers
-Life Group -Music -Youth -Feeding Schemes
-Prison -Hospital -Sound -Homes for the Aged
-Children’s Church -Choir -Informal Settlements -Homeless
-Mission Trips -Orphanages
